Copying Labels Between Boards

Backstory and motivation

I often want to use recurring rules not provided by Trello that I have labels for but they require exact wording and color for the same rules to be allowed to be enabled on the new board. Hence I’ve copied them by hand a few times. Today I found a way to copy them easily and efficiently hence I didn’t want to forget how to do it.

  1. Create a card on the board where you have the labels you want to copy
  2. Add all the labels you want to copy to the card
  3. Move the card to the board you want to copy the labels to.
    • One way is to drag to the inbox then drag from the inbox on the other card.
